Margaret Newland

Founder / Proprieter

Mrs Newland has extensive experience as a nurse in various wards; as a clinical nurse tutor and as a district nurse caring for the elderly in their home. Margaret opened the Welcome Care Home in 1993.

Rose Kiambi

Registered Manager

Rose, a registered nurse with over 20 years experiance, has been with the home since 2003 and in her current role as manager since 2011.

Clare Birch

Deputy Manager

Clare joined the team in 2007 to provide essential support for the manager and ensure the smooth running of the home on a daily basis.

"The service users care plan is vital to a happy and successful stay at the Home. Users, friends, family and carers are encouraged to be a part of the plan which is then reviewed and updated to reflect any changing needs. I aim to ensure that the objectives for health, personal and social care are carried out."

Thomas Connolly

Business Developement Manager

Thomas has been with the home since 2006. His primary role now is to find ways in which to improve our service beyond industry expectations.

"I believe that we must always demand the highest standards from the care industry. I have been monitoring government targets and emerging research in healthcare so that we might apply these solutions to the everyday functioning of the home. This way we can benefit from the latest information and best practices available to health professionals today."

Cynthia Roberts

Senior Carer

Cynthia has been a dedicated carer with the Welcome home since its establishment nearly 20 years ago. Cynthia continues to provide quality care at the home.

"I pride myself on providing the best care possible. I believe that a freindship built on mutual respect is key to ensuring a happy living and work environment."
