About The Welcome Care Home

 

We are pleased to accept Service Users on a long term or short term basis, for convalescence or a holiday stay.  

 

We do not accept resident whose needs are defined as constant nursing care but we are able to offer the same care as would be offered by a caring relative in a person’s own home.  

 

You and your family or advocate will always be involved in reviewing whether we are able to meet your care needs, right from the initial assessment.

 

Dementia Care

At the Welcome Care Home we can care for all but the most severe types of dependency. We understand that caring for people with dementia is a complex and sometimes challenging task.

We believe a multidisciplinary person centred approach is key to providing holstic care and to enable those suffering with dementia to function to the best of their abilities.

Service Users will recieve regular visits from medical practitioners such as the GP, Dentist and Optition. Massage, Chiropodist, Counsellors and  Therapists are all available by appointment.

We work closely with the local General Practitioner and the NHS to ensure the provision of quality terminal care.

We will endeavour to ensure that our procedures and services continue to meet your needs and these will be reviewed regularly with the care professionals involved in your care
